Itinerary:

• April 1: overnight flight to Paris.

• April 2: explore the wonders of Paris on your own.

• April 3: travel to St. Malo and visit Chartres Cathedral.

• April 4: explore the walled city of St. Malo, the beaches of Dinard, and arts and crafts in Dinan.

• April 5: Discover the magical island monastery of Mont St. Michel.

• April 6: visit the medieval fortress of Fourgeres. Continue on to Le Havre, where you board your cruise ship.

• April 7: tour the beaches of Normandy, visit the seaside town of Honfleur, or bike through La Havre.

• April 8: visit Bayeux & Caen and tour the Harcourt Arboretum.

• April 9: in Rouen, choose from a medieval walking tour, a 'tastes of Normandy' food tour, or a bike excursion.

• April 10: visit Claude Monet's home and gardens.
