New Zealand's climate is mild, and ranges from subtropical in the north to temperate in the south. No matter the season, the majority of main attractions are open year-round. Their seasons are opposite of ours and the most popular time to travel from the US is fall March – May, In autumn, New Zealand enjoys some of the most settled weather of the whole year. GETTING AROUND
It depends on how quickly you want to get from one place to another. There are numerous flights between the larger cities if you want to go fast. Many visitors rent cars (driving is on the left) or use buses, trains and water taxis available in certain areas.
